Job Summary
As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities. Your expertise will keep our hotel running smoothly, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our guests. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical systems, and plumbing. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help us deliver exceptional service and maintain our high standards.

What you’ll do

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control equipment functionality.
Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters to assess system performance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Collaborate with team members to execute planned maintenance schedules while minimizing disruption to hotel operations.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests related to maintenance issues.
Assist in technical sales efforts by providing insights on equipment needs and upgrades.

Basic qualifications

Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial mechanic with strong mechanical knowledge.
Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting various systems effectively.
Experience working with hydraulics and welding techniques relevant to hotel maintenance needs.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with team members and guests.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
Background in field service roles that required hands-on technical skills.
Military experience is a plus, showcasing discipline and technical proficiency.
Strong analysis skills to identify problems quickly and implement effective solutions.
Knowledge of customer service principles to enhance guest satisfaction through maintenance support.
