Outside Sales Representative – Commercial & Industrial Laundry Equipment
Haiges Machinery | Chicagoland Territory | Full-Time

We don't just move iron.

At Haiges Machinery, we help businesses run better laundry operations. Hotels, hospitals, senior living communities, industrial laundries, and on-premise laundries count on us to understand their challenges and deliver the right equipment and solutions. We're looking for a driven, energetic sales professional to grow our presence across the Chicagoland area.

This is a field-based role. You'll spend most of your time with customers at their facilities, learning how their operations work, uncovering what's holding them back, and building solutions that make a real difference to their bottom line.

What You'll Do

Identify and prospect new customers through cold calling, networking, and research
Meet with customers on site to assess their laundry operations, equipment, and facility requirements
Build long-term relationships by understanding customer challenges and recommending the right solutions, not just the next sale
Sell at every level of an organization, from the C-suite and ownership to facility managers, maintenance staff, and service teams
Work with our service, installation, and operations teams to make sure every project is set up for success
Manage your pipeline, forecasts, and customer activity in our CRM
Represent Haiges Machinery at industry events and trade shows

What We're Looking For

Self-motivation is non-negotiable. You manage your own time, set your own targets high, and don't wait to be told what to do next.
A proven track record in field-based, customer-facing sales. You've built a territory and you can show results.
A consultative, technical approach to selling. You ask good questions, listen carefully, and recommend what the customer actually needs.
Comfort at every level. You're just as effective presenting ROI to a CFO as you are talking equipment with a maintenance supervisor in the back of the building.
Basic mechanical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, gas piping, and exhaust venting. You don't need to be a technician, but you need to understand what it takes to install and run equipment in a customer's facility.
A customer-first mindset. You care about doing right by the customer and earning their trust for the long haul.
Energy and likeability. You're the kind of person customers want to see and coworkers want to work with.

Experience in commercial laundry, foodservice equipment, HVAC, industrial equipment, or a related technical sales field
