Job Description:

Joyce Plumbing, part of the locally owned and growing Joyce Cooling & Heating, is seeking a motivated Experienced Plumber Apprentice to join our expanding plumbing division. As a Plumber Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training, develop practical skills, and work toward becoming a licensed Journeyman Plumber.

Responsibilities and Duties

Assist Journeyman and Master Plumbers with residential plumbing installations, repairs, and replacements.
Help install and service piping, fixtures, water heaters (tank and tankless), boilers, pumps, and related plumbing equipment.
Safely use tools, equipment, and materials under supervision.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
Learn and follow plumbing codes, safety practices, and company procedures.
Provide a professional and courteous experience to customers.
Attend required apprenticeship classes, training, and on-the-job learning.
Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong desire to learn the trade.

Qualifications and Skills

Enrolled in or willing to enroll in a plumbing apprenticeship program (preferred).
2–4 years of plumbing experience
Strong interest in pursuing a career in the plumbing trade.
Ability to work in residential environments, including basements, crawl spaces, and outdoors.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
