We’re seeking a skilled Commercial Plumbing Foreman to oversee all phases of commercial plumbing projects. In this leadership role, you’ll coordinate crews, manage schedules, ensure quality, and maintain safety standards—all while supporting project managers in delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise laborers, apprentice plumbers, and operators to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
- Prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor daily operations.
- Communicate and enforce safety procedures and jobsite rules.
- Execute project schedules planned by the project management team.
- Collaborate with staff to develop preconstruction estimates and material/labor budgets.
- Coordinate and schedule work activities, relaying instructions through project managers as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of work for quality, timeliness, and compliance; provide progress reports to the project management team.
- Ensure work meets all specifications, regulations, and architectural/engineering plans.
- Maintain accurate records for costs, inventory, and project documentation.
- Identify and address safety concerns or deficiencies promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project success.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven ability to oversee and coordinate diverse teams in a construction environment.
- Strong skills in reading, interpreting, and executing blueprints, drawings, and plans.
- Quick problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic math and construction calculations.
- Hands-on experience with all phases of plumbing: rough-in, stack-out, and trim-out.
- Experienced in installing and maintaining plumbing fixtures and systems.
- Understanding of commercial construction building layouts and systems.
Education & Experience
- Texas Journeyman Plumbing License (TSBPE) required.
- 2–3+ years of commercial plumbing experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to access and navigate all areas of construction sites in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
