Project Overview:

This job posting is specific to our project in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where we are responsible for renovating and operating the shipyard located on Quay 15 & 16. Our facilities here include a 200-foot floating dock and a 680-foot dry dock. We specialize in the repair and maintenance of various marine vessels, with a particular emphasis on careening, painting operations, metalwork, and the maintenance of propulsion units and auxiliaries.

*Job Overview*

We are seeking skilled Certified Welders to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in various welding techniques and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

*Responsibilities*

- Interpret and understand blueprints to perform welding duties

- Operate welding equipment to weld, cut, bend, and fabricate metal components

- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality

- Utilize machining tools for welding projects

- Assist with rigging and construction site welding tasks

*Requirements*

- Certification as a Welder (Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Steel, Copper-Nickel or Combination of 2 or more material specialization)

- Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately

- Strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship

- Knowledge of fabricating metal components
