Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber/Pipefitter to join our team!

A Plumber/Pipefitter is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of plumbing and piping systems in commercial and industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

1. Installation:

-Assemble and Install plumbing and piping systems according to blueprints, design specifications, and applicable codes.

2. Maintenance & Repair:

- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning plumbing components. Replace faulty parts and ensure system integrity.

3. Code & Standard Compliance:

- Stay updated on local, state, and national codes and regulations. Ensure that all installations and modifications adhere to these standards.

4. Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs. Generate reports detailing system status and any necessary corrective actions.

5. Collaboration:

- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate installation activities and resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training is a plus.

- Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications such OSHA 10 for construction.

- Experience: Prior experience as a Plumber, Pipefitter or in a related field is preferred.

- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, understanding hydraulic calculations, and working with various tools and equipment used in plumbing installation and maintenance.

- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of safe, efficient, and code-compliant water supply and drainage systems.

- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and authorities having jurisdiction.

- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Work Environment:

The job may involve working both indoors and outdoors and will require travel to different job sites. The Plumber/Pipefitter must be prepared to work in various weather conditions and respond to emergency situations when needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $36.00 per hour
