Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Decorative Concrete Finisher to join our decorative concrete team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in decorative concrete finishing and related masonry skills, with the ability to work efficiently on commercial and residential projects. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality construction projects, utilizing a broad range of technical skills in a dynamic environment.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Install and finish decorative concrete surfaces including stamped, stained, polished, and overlay systems
- Prepare job sites: form setting, grading, base prep, and surface preparation
- Mix, pour, place, and finish concrete to meet project specifications
- Apply color hardeners, stains, sealers, and protective coatings
- Use hand and power tools such as trowels, grinders, saws, and finishing equipment
- Read and follow project plans, layouts, and instructions
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
- Work efficiently as part of a crew to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and occasionally clients
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in decorative concrete finishing (stamped, stained, polished, or similar)
- Strong understanding of concrete materials, mixes, curing, and finishing techniques
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Attention to detail and pride in high-quality craftsmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Experience with custom patterns, overlays, or specialty finishes
- Knowledge of concrete repair and resurfacing
- Ability to read blueprints or project drawings
- Previous construction or masonry experience
- Leadership or crew lead experience
Compensation (Experience-Based Pay)
- Pay is based on experience and skill level
- Competitive hourly wage with opportunities for advancement
- Higher pay available for candidates with proven decorative concrete experience

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
