Job Title: Welder
Job Description: Welder is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures using various welding techniques
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs required daily preventative maintenance
- Welder is responsible for set-up and operation of welding equipment
- Solve problems and eliminate scrap, rework and downtime while effectively repairing defective products.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure welds meet specifications and standards, identifying and addressing any flaws.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, weld symbols and engineering drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal structures.
- Perform advanced welding operations using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick welding).
- Operate robot welding equipment also torches, hand tools, clamps, jigs, fixtures and specialized machines, while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
- Sets up, troubleshoots and makes advanced adjustments to the weld process as needed to maintain good production and quality.
- Maintain clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Applicant must have manufacturing assembly experience and/or high level of mechanical aptitude
- Applications must have good communication skills
- Applicants must be detail oriented, dependable, and work well in a team environment.
- Applicants must be able to bend, stoop, reach high and low, work at a constant pace, and lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
- Build defect-free products that meet Quality Standards
- Build products within time standards
- Adhere to safety standards and requirements
- Knowledge of metallurgy
- Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
Preferred Experience:
- AWS D1.1 1G Welding Certification
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints to ensure products are machined correctly

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
