The Facilities Manager provides strong leadership by effectively managing all installations, repairs, and restaurant maintenance operations for multi-unit restaurants. This position will have a solid understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems, plumbing, electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. Must be well versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations.

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As an integral member of our Team, this position is responsible for:
- Serves as a liaison with city, county, and state as it relates to fire and occupational safety.
- Performs preventive maintenance service, emergency repair, and cosmetic repair on restaurant equipment and property; performs necessary modifications to equipment installations.
- Maintain, train, and enforce all applicable safety procedures and standards of operation for building maintenance.
- Investigates, analyzes, and proposes solutions to space related problems in the areas of building design, accessibility, and safety. Devises solutions and prepares recommendations to correct problems.
- Travel to properties for contractor meetings and inspections.
- Respond to, prioritize, and complete work orders on maintenance requests. Make sure all exterior and interior repairs are scheduled or completed as needed.
- Work alongside maintenance technicians to troubleshoot issues at various worksites.
- Monitors and oversees outside contract work in assigned stores, assures proper coordination and communication between all concerned parties.
- Assists supervisor with recommendations regarding capital budget expenditures for equipment, building and property repair or replacement.
- Maintains current service and warranty records and prevents unwarranted repair expenses or violation of warranties.
- Conduct regularly scheduled restaurant audits (a minimum of 1 per year) making recommendations for needed repairs and working with the Management Team by training or coaching on how to effect minor repairs to help reduce repair costs and also provide a safer environment for our guest and team members.
- Manage cyclical services such as hood cleaning, grease trap pumping, fire suppression, carpet cleaning and other services as deemed necessary.
- Provide hands-on maintenance of kitchen equipment, plumbing, refrigeration and electrical in all restaurant and retail locations.
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications, and general facility maintenance tasks in the areas of painting, patching, fixtures, caulking, flooring, carpentry, locksmith, etc.
- Maintain all HVAC and refrigeration systems including installing, operating, and maintaining all aspects of temperature control.
HERE’S WHAT Education & Experience YOU WILL NEED:
- High school or equivalent required, some college preferred.
- Required previous multi-unit building management experience, in the quick service restaurant / food industry.
- Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, and related building systems.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
- Strong electrical / mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Capability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
- Valid Driver License
