Welder
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder who will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms. Must be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.
- Ability to weld on all types of steel including Stainless Steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints to weld per print and meet product specifications.
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
- Perform MIG or other types of weld-based project needs.
- De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture.
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure high-quality work.
- Compliance with all safety rules and guidelines.
- Consistently adhere to assigned work schedule, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with MIG and TIG welding.
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures.
- Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Completion of a 2-year Welding program or 4 years of welding experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with welding various steels.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive team attitude.
