Together, we are a leading Midwest provider of precast and pre-stressed concrete products, storage systems, and ready-mix concrete. McPherson Concrete Storage Systems manufactures concrete silos and water tower posts, which often require work at high elevations and travel to remote job sites.
The Concrete Finisher is responsible for performing skilled concrete work related to the construction of concrete foundations for silo systems and related infrastructure. This position performs concrete finishing, formwork, reinforcement installation, and general site preparation while maintaining company quality standards and safe work practices.
Concrete Finishers travel to project sites throughout the Midwest and surrounding regions and work closely with field crews to complete concrete foundations safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Perform concrete finishing activities including screeding, floating, edging, and troweling surfaces.

Assist with layout, installation, and removal of concrete formwork.

Tie and place reinforcing steel (rebar) according to project requirements.

Set forms and ensure proper alignment and elevation for concrete pours.

Assist with placing and finishing concrete for silo foundation systems.

Perform site preparation and cleanup before and after pours.

Operate hand tools and power tools required for concrete and formwork tasks.

Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors to meet project timelines.

Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.

Travel to job sites as assigned.

Experience in concrete finishing required.

Knowledge of concrete form carpentry and form setting.

Experience tying and placing reinforcing steel (rebar).

Ability to follow layout instructions and project specifications.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Ability to lift and carry construction materials and tools as required.

Must pass drug test and physical capacity test
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires travel to project sites throughout the Midwest and surrounding states including Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma, Colorado, and other locations as needed.
Employees travel to and from job sites using their personal vehicle and are reimbursed according to company policy.
