Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role involves providing expert maintenance, repair, and installation services for commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, field service experience, and familiarity with HVAC/R systems. A valid driver’s license is required to ensure timely travel between job sites. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects involving HVAC design, schematics interpretation, and equipment repair in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and HVAC/R principles.
Install new HVAC equipment following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Utilize tools and welding equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
Read and interpret HVAC schematics and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues.
Maintain detailed service reports documenting work performed and parts used.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems when required.
Operate company vehicles safely; a valid driver’s license is essential for travel between sites.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Service Technician within the HVAC industry or related field such as construction or property maintenance.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment diagnostics and equipment (e.g., chillers, RTUs, pumps, VRF/VRV) repair.
Familiarity with HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, and system troubleshooting.
Knowledge of VRV/VRF is a must.
Experience working with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals accurately.
Field service experience with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues efficiently.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $55.00 - $61.00 per hour
