Longo Custom Builders is currently seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. This person will be responsible for overseeing the construction of individual custom homes and projects from start to finish. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, at the highest quality standards, and with exceptional homeowner satisfaction. The Project Manager/Estimator manages subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel, while upholding the company’s values and reputation as a premier builder.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Manage day-to-day construction operations for assigned homes/projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
· Lead pre-construction planning with clients, architects, designers, engineers, and the internal team to ensure a seamless handoff to field operations.
· Track budgets and expenses, reviewing receipts, invoices, and change orders weekly.
· Approve payments only after verifying that work is complete, accepted, and compliant with company standards.
· Identify and address budget variances promptly to maintain profitability.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during construction, providing updates and addressing concerns with professionalism and care.
· Maintain accurate project schedules, daily logs, and reports, including detailed weekly updates with 2-week and 5-week outlooks.
· Provide performance reviews for subcontractors and vendors at each project phase.
· Ensure that all project details, selections, specifications, and lookbooks are accurate, current, and accessible in project management systems.
· Recruit, orient, and manage subcontractors, fostering positive and productive relationships.
· Provide clear scopes of work, expectations, and documentation prior to work commencement.
· Uphold the company’s “Customer Commitment” by acting in the Homeowner’s best interest and fostering trust, transparency, and satisfaction.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
· 5+ years of residential construction management and/or site supervision experience.
· Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and industry best practices.
· Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors effectively.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency with project management software (Co-Construct, BuilderTrend, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
· OSHA certification, Blue Card (NPDES) certification, or willingness to obtain.
· EarthCraft or similar green building certification a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
