Overview

TradeWise is actively seeking a Project Manager I to support electrical construction projects for a leading mission-critical and commercial infrastructure contractor.

This role is responsible for the administration, coordination, and execution of small to mid-size electrical construction projects, or key scopes within larger, complex builds. The Project Manager will partner closely with Superintendents, field leadership, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Project Superintendent with project setup, documentation, and field office coordination
Develop and maintain resource-loaded CPM schedules using Primavera
Lead project kick-off meetings and coordinate project mobilization
Forecast manpower needs and project cash flow
Interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
Assist in developing project budgets and cost codes
Track labor, production, and cost performance
Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders
Price change orders and assist with project estimating
Support proposal development and client presentations
Coordinate procurement of major materials, tools, and equipment
Manage permits, inspections, and licensing requirements
Monitor financial performance and maintain project profitability
Oversee project closeout, punch lists, as-builts, and O&M manuals
Prepare monthly project status and forecast reports
Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations
Participate in contract reviews and client negotiations

Qualifications

Required:

7–9 years of construction project management experience

5–7 years with a Master’s degree in Engineering
Background managing electrical or multi-discipline construction projects
Experience coordinating with GCs, engineers, and owners
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong financial and operational project oversight experience

Preferred Degrees (ABET accredited a plus):
