2nd shift Facilities Electrical Maintenance job in Holmes County, OH for our client, a busy manufacturer of quality products. This role is crucial for maintaining, repairing, and improving all plant equipment and facilities, with a strong focus on electrical systems including working on
480V/3 Phase electrical, control wiring and PLC troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be adept at diagnosing and resolving complex electrical issues, ensuring continuous improvement, and upholding stringent safety standards. This is a second shift position, working 5 days one week and every other Saturday (overtime).
Our client offers a starting pay rate of $31.82 per hour or more, based on experience and a comprehensive benefits program.Responsibilities for the Industrial Facilities Electrical Maintenance job include:
- Maintain, repair, and improve all plant equipment and facilities. Performs electrical maintenance including working with 480volts 3 phase down to control wiring, to program and trouble shoot various PLC'S, motor controls both AC / DC.
- Adjust equipment in the production process to ensure part quality and promote continuous improvement.
- Assists in adjusting equipment in the production process to ensure part quality and promote continuous improvement.
- Determines assembly and sequence of operations.
- Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions; and visualizes projects to determine materials required.
- Troubleshoots, analyzes problems and recommends solutions.
- Embraces safety and abides by corporate safety programs, such as LOTO, Arc-Flash and NEC codes.
- Equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman's card/certification (preferred) and a minimum of 7 years' experience in manufacturing or related field in the Electrical field. Must have Manufacturing /Industrial Maintenance experience.
- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is strongly preferred.
- Proficient understanding of all aspects of electrical maintenance. Ability to install new equipment, trouble shoot current processes.
- Proficient in all aspects of electrical maintenance to include 480volts 3 phase down to control wiring, able to program and trouble shoot various PLC'S, motor controls both AC / DC.
- Must be able to read and understand a blueprint. Ability to diagnose, interrupt and assess problems in manufacturing processes.
