The Glass Shop is a residential and commercial glazing company. We are looking for positive, self-motivated person who is ready to join our team.

Responsibilities:

· Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications and related documents for glazing, storefront, curtainwall, hardware scopes

· Request and evaluate vendor quotes

· Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment

· Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects

· Participate in pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits when needed

· Identify project risks, value-engineering options, and cost- savings opportunities

· Prepare, coordinate and track RFIs, submittals, change orders and material orders

· Create shop drawings and product submittals

Qualifications:

o 2+ years of estimating experience

o Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, SharePoint and CorelDraw

o Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret project plans and specifications

o Solid understanding of project management principles and practices

o Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners

o Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates

o Excellent communication and organizational skills

o Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
