Facility and maintenance technician role responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on building systems, utilities, and production equipment, including CNC machine repairs. Job location in Princeton, IL
2nd shift 3:00pm to 11:30pm M - F

3rd shift 10:00pm to 6:30am SUN - TH
What you will do:
- Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment, building systems, and production machines
- Perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance as required to support uptime
- Develop and implement solutions for recurring facility, equipment, and machine issues
- Troubleshoot circuit panels and 120V machine controls; verify basic electrical functionality
- Maintain and repair air compressors and cooling water systems
- Perform plumbing repairs and installations using PVC, copper, and black pipe; replace hoses, fittings, and valves
- Fabricate and repair sheet metal components and ductwork as required
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, including ball screw replacement, lathe turret alignment/verification, and drawbar replacement
What is needed
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing facility systems and production machines
- Preventive maintenance experience on equipment and building systems
- Experience diagnosing circuit panels and 120V machine controls
- Experience troubleshooting controls and electrical components in industrial equipment (120V controls)
- Experience maintaining air compressors, including types and operation
- Experience supporting cooling water systems, including operation and components
- Plumbing experience with PVC, copper, black pipe, hoses, fittings, and valves
- Sheet metal fabrication experience, including bending, cutting, shaping, and ductwork
- CNC machinery troubleshooting and repair experience, including:
- Ball screw replacement
- Lathe turret verification and alignment
- Experience creating repair plans and corrective actions based on root cause findings
- Experience working from equipment manuals, schematics, and maintenance work orders
