Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Installer will ensure that all installations are performed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems, including ductless mini-split air conditioners, furnaces, and refrigeration units.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems to determine necessary repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and installation requirements.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during installation and repair processes.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory used.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding HVAC systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Experience in appliance repair or equipment repair is advantageous.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred.
- Welding skills are beneficial for certain installation tasks.
- Certification or training in HVAC technology is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
