Overview
Crossroads is seeking skilled and dedicated Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians to join our team. The candidate must have extensive experience in oil and gas electrical work, demonstrating proficiency in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and a strong understanding of electrical systems. These roles require a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in oil and gas settings.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools.
- Ensure compliance with NEC standards and local electrical codes.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
- Work with low voltage and high voltage systems as required.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
The successful candidate:
- Is a Journeyman Electrician with a valid Texas Journeyman or Apprentice License
- Is local to Carrizo, willing to relocate, or willing to shift in/out
- Can perform electrical maintenance & construction fieldwork
- Is proficient with construction tasks in Oil & Gas processing facilities & well sites
- Is willing to work flexible hours
- Is a "self-starter" and can be productive without immediate supervision
- Has a "Safety-First" mindset
- Has current Safe Land, H2S Clear, and First Aid certifications
- Has a valid driver's license
