This is a PERMANENT DIRECT HIRE ROLE.

Looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our manufacturing team. We are a manufacturer of paper board products from folding cartons to formed paperboard cups, and we have been in business for over 130 years, while staying family owned.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing major equipment, assisting with new equipment installations, and performing light electrical rough-ins.

Ideal candidates will have:

Basic mechanical knowledge
The ability to read electrical schematics
Foundational motor control skills
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace
A willingness to learn and adapt

Shift Flexibility is a Must:
Initial training will take place on 1st Shift (M-F, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM). After training, you must be open to transitioning to 2nd (M-F 3PM-11PM) or 3rd shift(Sun-Thu, 11pm-7am).

Job Requirements:

· Trouble-shoot electrical malfunctions

· Read electrical blueprints

· Drive fork truck and rider hand jack

· Ability to work with others

· Understanding of VFD’s, PLC, and Motor control logic

· Install conduit and wiring

· Willingness to learn and advance in the company

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must be in good physical condition, as heavy lifting is required

· Basic computer knowledge

· Basic VFD, PLC, and motor control knowledge

· Authorize a background check

· Complete a drug screening

Pay: Weekly Pay. Salary based on experience.
