Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Electrical Superintendent to lead and oversee electrical multi-family construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role involves managing on-site electrical teams, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive leadership style, extensive construction site experience, and a thorough understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and construction management software. Your expertise will drive project success while maintaining the highest quality standards across all phases of construction.

Duties

Lead and supervise electrical crews on construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and safety regulations such as OSHA.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop detailed project schedules using Procore or similar construction management software.
Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation procedures and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Oversee quality control measures by inspecting work progress, conducting tests with tools like ohmmeters, and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Monitor project progress through regular site visits, update schedules, and communicate milestones or delays effectively.
Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety meetings to promote a culture of safety awareness among all team members.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprint reading, and construction estimating processes.
Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P6 or similar tools for scheduling and documentation.
Hands-on experience with construction site activities including installation, testing, troubleshooting electrical systems using tools like ohmmeters.
Understanding of contracts management and ability to interpret technical specifications accurately.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to heavy civil or industrial construction sites.
Excellent management skills with the ability to supervise multiple teams while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
