VECA Electric & Technologies has an opening for an Associate Project Manager in Bellingham Division. This position reports directly to the Project Manager and works in partnership with our electrical field team.

Position Summary: Responsible for assisting the Project Manager with the completion of all aspects of assigned projects from inception to completion.

Desired Skills & Experience:

A minimum of 4 year's experience in the electrical or construction industry or a degree in a construction-related field.
Strong computer skills, including MS Office suite, Bluebeam, and Construction Management Programs (Procore, Autodesk, Raken, etc.)
Must have strong leadership skills, strong oral communication skills, active listening skills, and excellent writing skills.
Must be able to work cooperatively with a variety of personalities.
A self-starter who will work proactively with the Project Manager and team

Position Accountabilities:

Receives and reviews project requests as directed
Assists with tracking, auditing and reporting on daily project activity including cost controls, schedule compliance, productivity, quality scope definition, scope additions/deletions as directed
Creates, submits and tracks change orders under the direction of the Project Manager
Perform project setup duties as required
Responsible for maintaining records and reports essential to the effective operation of ongoing projects and assigned areas of responsibility.
Produce project-based reports internally and externally
Assist the Project Manager with overseeing the coordination of project scope with Project Team, Operations Department and the Purchasing Department to achieve maximum efficiency and cost management
Other duties as assigned
Assist Field personnel as needed

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range $30.00 - $45.00 DOE per hour
