Job Overview
We are seeking an Industrial -Mechanical project manager for our company.
Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of industrial and mechanical construction projects, maintenance and ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety protocols
- Develop comprehensive project schedules
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes utilizing Construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or ProCore
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate seamless project flow on-site and off-site
- Monitor construction site activities for compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications
- Utilize Bluebeam for document control, plan review, and collaboration among project teams
- Track project progress through detailed reporting on project scheduling, cost control, and resource allocation
- Ensure timely resolution of issues related to project scope changes or unforeseen site conditions
- Maintain clear communication channels across all stakeholders to promote transparency and accountability
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management within industrial or mechanical sectors with a strong understanding of mechanical and industrial site operations
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera platforms like ProCore or Bluebeam
- Solid knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to heavy industrial systems
- Experience managing contracts, change orders, and procurement processes in a construction environment
- Strong skills in project scheduling, time management, and resource coordination to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints accurately
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients
- Construction site experience with a focus on safety compliance and quality assurance
- Familiarity with engineering principles relevant to industrial projects is a plus
- Certifications such as OSHA safety training or PMP certification are advantageous
