Gillmann Services is seeking an experienced Pipefitter for commercial and industrial work. This role involves layout, fabrication, installation, and repair of piping systems including carbon steel, stainless, and copper.
If you can read prints, fit pipe, and work independently, this is steady work with good hours.
Pipefitter Pay: $30-$35
Pipefitter Apprentice Pay: $18-$23
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, isometrics, and specs
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit pipe
- Install and align piping systems (steam, water, gas, air, process lines)
- Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper
- Use hand tools, power tools, and pipefitting equipment
- Perform basic rigging and material handling
- Follow jobsite safety procedures
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience as a Pipefitter
- Strong blueprint and isometric reading skills
- Experience fitting threaded, welded, and flanged pipe
- Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
- Own basic pipefitting hand tools
- Reliable transportation
