As we continue to grow at a rapid pace, we are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Commercial Fire Alarm Foreman to join our team and to lead and inspire our installation crews on commercial and residential projects.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Foreman to oversee the turnkey installation of fire alarm systems on-site. Must have experience with new construction Multifamily, Mixed Use, assisted living and high-rise buildings. You’ll lead a team to ensure compliance with codes and standards, and be a key player in ensuring projects are completed on time and to standards.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the work of fire alarm installation
Wire devices, panels
Assist with programming
Troubleshooting
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, local codes, and AHJ requirements
Oversee on-site safety and enforce company policies
Communicate with project managers, general contractors, and customers
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and final inspections
Maintain accurate documentation for each project
Train and mentor juniors

Qualifications:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in fire alarm system installation
Minimum 4+ years experience with new construction Multifamily, Mixed Use, assisted living and high-rise buildings
Proven leadership or foreman experience preferred
Familiarity with various fire alarm protocols and networking (e.g., SLC, NAC circuits)
Ability to configure and program addressable fire alarm panels
Understanding of integration with auxiliary systems (sprinkler monitoring, HVAC shutdowns, door release, etc.)
Ability to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously
Strong organizational skills for maintaining documentation, scheduling inspections, and coordinating materials
Experience with project tracking software or digital job management tools
NICET Certification (or ability to obtain)
Strong understanding of NFPA 72 and applicable codes
Experience with systems from manufacturers like Honeywell, Potter Signal or similar
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Strong communication and organizational skills
