Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and efficiency. Duties

Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication and welding requirements.
Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques on various metals including sheet metal and pipe components.
Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, assemble, and finish metal parts.
Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools; perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations.
Conduct rigging and assembly of fabricated components on-site or in the shop environment, ensuring proper fitment and structural integrity.
Operate forklifts and other machinery safely to transport materials or finished products within the work area.
Follow all safety protocols related to construction site work, welding standards (including ASME codes & standards), and equipment operation.

Qualifications

Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of fabrication processes in a manufacturing or construction setting.
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques; experience with welding preferred.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, ductwork installation, assembly processes, and machining is highly desirable.
Knowledge of rigging techniques for lifting and positioning heavy components safely on-site or in the shop.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Familiarity with safety standards such as ASME codes & standards applicable to welding and fabrication work.
Valid forklift certification is a plus; experience with schematics or blueprint reading is essential.
