Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Carpentry Foreman to perform carpentry/framing and lead crews on commercial construction projects. Duties
- Lead and supervise construction teams on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols
- Lead execution of carpentry/framing tasks
- Manage and communicate material needs ahead of delivery
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation during construction phases
- Help coordinate subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with specifications and contractual obligations
- Conduct quality control inspections on site
- Coordinate with project managers to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and maintain effective communication among all stakeholders
Experience
- Proven field management experience in construction projects with supervisory responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of carpentry and framing techniques
- Hands-on experience with construction site operations, safety regulations (OSHA), and use of heavy machinery tools
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution
- Skilled in using construction management software like ProCore, Bluebeam, JobTread, and other relevant tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams efficiently while fostering a safe and productive work environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments and stakeholders
