Position Overview
A group of independent restaurant operators is hiring a dependable, skilled Maintenance & HVAC Technician to support multiple high-volume hospitality locations. This is a shared, full-time role across 3–4 established restaurants, focused on preventative maintenance, equipment reliability, and fast response to operational issues.
This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being the go-to problem solver that keeps kitchens, bakeries, and guest spaces running without disruption.

Core ResponsibilitiesHVAC & Refrigeration
- Maintain and service HVAC systems across all partner locations
- Troubleshoot cooling/heating issues before they impact service
- Maintain walk-ins, reach-ins, and refrigeration systems
- Perform routine inspections, filter changes, and preventative servicing
Kitchen Equipment & Restaurant Operations
- Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, mixers, espresso machines, etc.)
- Support bakery and coffee equipment maintenance (preferred but not required)
- Reduce downtime through proactive repairs and maintenance planning
- Coordinate external repair vendors for major service work
General Facilities Maintenance
- Minor plumbing repairs (leaks, clogs, fixtures)
- Basic electrical troubleshooting (lighting, outlets, switches)
- Repairs to walls, flooring, shelving, and fixtures
- Maintain safe, clean, and code-compliant facilities
Preventative Maintenance Program
- Execute scheduled maintenance checklists across all locations
- Maintain service logs and maintenance records
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and equipment risks early
- Assist ownership with repair forecasting and capital planning
Emergency & On-Call Support
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues that could impact service
- Prioritize repairs based on operational impact
- Occasional on-call availability for critical equipment failures
Qualifications
- 3+ years in HVAC, facilities maintenance, or commercial repair
- Experience in restaurants, hospitality, or food service environments strongly preferred
- EPA Certification (preferred)
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to travel between multiple nearby locations daily
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
