Job Description
Lead multiple construction projects in pre-construction and / or construction phase to meet or surpass quality, budget, and schedule goals while being an advocate for our clients, subcontractors, and frontline employees.
Key Responsibilities
· Direct and manage pre-construction and / or construction phase of Joseph’s projects beginning with pre-job planning that includes defining scope of work and schedule, negotiating subcontractor and supplier contracts, procurement of materials, and projecting Joseph labor and equipment needs.
· Establish job specific safety plan and ensure compliance with safety regulations, always promoting a safe work environment.
· Oversee project financial processes and outcomes including development of Schedule of Values, administer payment applications and changes in work, and perform budget and cash flows based on Owner needs.
· Conduct project meetings steering the construction process in a manner that allows project goals to be successfully accomplished using several tools such as submittal tracking, RFI’s, logs for PR’s, CO’s, and critical path schedule with 3-week work plans.
· Serves as main point of contact with the Owner, professional design teams, and on-site leaders of the contracting team.
Qualifications
· Minimum of (2) years Project Management and / or estimating experience
· Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred but not required
· Experience with Construction Management software ie: Submittal Exchange, Procore, Microsoft Project / Primavera, PlanGrid, PlanSwift
· Possess good communication skills
· Thorough plan reading skills and understanding of CSI format
· Position includes company vehicle so valid driver’s license required

· Salary: $125,000 - $225,000 per year
