Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pipefitter, Boilermaker, and Welder to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing teams. This versatile role involves fabricating, installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems, boilers, and related equipment across various industrial settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in multiple welding techniques, and a keen eye for detail to ensure all projects meet safety standards and quality expectations. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems, boilers, and related components.
- Perform welding operations using MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and other techniques to join metals in accordance with ASME codes & standards.
- Install fire sprinkler systems, HVAC piping, pipeline assemblies, plumbing fixtures, and other mechanical systems on construction sites or manufacturing facilities.
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, pipe threading equipment, tube benders, soldering tools, and rigging gear to prepare materials for assembly or repair.
- Measure accurately with calipers and perform basic math calculations to ensure precise fitting of components.
- Conduct routine maintenance on piping systems or boilers as needed to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working at heights or in confined spaces; adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship; interpret schematics and technical documents for troubleshooting or modifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a pipefitter, boilermaker, welder, or in related construction or manufacturing roles.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, soldering, and pipe threading techniques.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, ASME codes & standards, and mechanical systems installation.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, calipers, rigging equipment, tube benders, and other fabrication tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with fire sprinkler fitting, HVAC piping installation, pipeline assembly, plumbing systems maintenance, and tube bending processes.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; experience working with schematics or technical diagrams.
- Construction site experience with an emphasis on safety practices; ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
- Knowledge of industry standards related to pipeline installation and maintenance; experience with manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus. Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
