We are actively seeking a Licensed HVAC (Journeyman) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a skilled installation technician experienced in residential and commercial system replacements, new construction installs, and retrofit applications.

As a Licensed HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for the proper installation of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, rooftop units (RTUs), mini-splits, ventilation systems, and related ductwork. You will ensure systems are installed according to manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company quality standards.

This role requires strong mechanical ability, attention to detail, leadership in the field, and the ability to manage install crews efficiently.

We proudly serve Eastern Idaho, West Yellowstone, and Jackson, WY. A company vehicle is provided for daily travel.

Key Responsibilities

Lead residential and commercial HVAC system installations
Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment safely and efficiently
Install furnaces, AC condensers, heat pumps, air handlers, mini-splits, and RTUs
Perform proper refrigerant line set installation, brazing, evacuation, and charging
Fabricate and install sheet metal duct systems and transitions
Install gas piping, venting, flue systems, and condensate drains
Ensure proper airflow setup and system balancing
Complete system startup, commissioning, and operational verification
Verify installations meet code and manufacturer requirements
Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
Accurately document installation details and material usage
Mentor apprentices and ensure safe work practices

Requirements

Active Journeyman HVAC License (required)
Valid Drivers License with clean driving record (required)
High school diploma or GED
Proven experience in HVAC installation (residential and/or commercial)
Strong knowledge of installation best practices and mechanical systems
Sheet metal fabrication experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and installation layouts
Ability to work overtime during peak seasons
Strong work ethic and team leadership skills
Self-motivated and production-oriented mindset

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in crawl spaces and attics
Ability to climb ladders and access rooftops
Lift and maneuver HVAC equipment and materials
Work in various weather conditions
