What You’ll Do
As a Plumbing Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and coordinating plumbing and fire protection systems that integrate seamlessly into complex building projects. Here’s what you can expect:
- Design Excellence: Prepare and review construction documents, including layouts, schedules, and specifications for plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Problem-Solving: Perform hydraulic, thermal, and water flow calculations, fixture counts, and coordination studies to ensure optimal system performance.
- Hands-On Collaboration: Conduct site surveys, evaluate conditions, and coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams to bring designs to life.
- Construction Support: Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs, and provide on-site installation verification and commissioning support.
- Leadership Opportunities (Senior Level): Mentor junior engineers, ensure design quality, and maintain code compliance.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking candidates who are passionate about engineering and thrive in a collaborative environment. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Plumbing, Mechanical, or related field).
- Experience:
- Junior Level: 2–5 years of plumbing/MEP engineering experience.
- Senior Level: 7–10+ years of experience, including mentoring and leadership.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on design experience, Revit MEP expertise, and knowledge of plumbing codes and NFPA standards.
- Construction Savvy: Direct experience with site visits, installation verification, and commissioning.
- Licensing: PE license preferred for Senior Engineers (or ability to obtain).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication abilities.
