About the Role
As a Facilities Maintenance Plumber, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for the integrity of complex piping and utility systems. You will play a vital role in ensuring operational uptime by proactively maintaining infrastructure and executing high-precision repairs across our expansive production environment.
Responsibilities-
Maintain and optimize steam boilers, compressed air equipment, and industrial piping networks to ensure peak facility performance.

Execute complex installations and repairs on diverse material systems, including stainless steel, copper, iron, and PVC.

Utilize advanced joining techniques such as ProPress, soldering, and specialized welding to meet rigorous sanitary standards.

Diagnose and resolve issues with pump operations and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.

Manage the lifecycle of plumbing components by accurately identifying, sourcing, and ordering necessary parts from technical documentation.

Uphold strict facility cleanliness and food safety standards while performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

Monitor and service essential refrigeration and boiler systems to support continuous plant operations.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Plumbers License.

Proven proficiency in pipe fitting, threading, and industrial system troubleshooting.

Strong ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic drawings.

Effective communication skills for documenting maintenance activities and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Certified sanitary welding credentials.

EPA Universal certification for refrigeration handling.

Prior experience in a high-volume food or beverage manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated expertise in large-scale pneumatic and hydraulic system maintenance.
