Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Master Plumber to lead and execute complex plumbing projects across commercial and residential construction sites. As a Licensed Master Plumber, you will be responsible for ensuring all plumbing systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Duties
- Lead plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance on construction sites, ensuring compliance with blueprints, schematics, and building codes.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Perform construction estimating for plumbing projects by calculating material needs, labor costs, and project timelines.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools safely and efficiently.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure plumbing systems meet quality standards; troubleshoot issues related to pipe fitting, pipe threading, or system design.
- Supervise field service activities including remodeling projects, system upgrades, or repairs in commercial or residential settings.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure timely project delivery while maintaining safety protocols.
- Utilize carpentry skills for framing or supporting plumbing fixtures; assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed on-site.
- Read mechanical schematics and technical manuals to install or repair complex plumbing systems including HVAC integrations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed; complete reports on project progress, incidents or safety concerns.
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Master Plumber with relevant state certification required; ability to obtain additional licenses if necessary.
- Extensive experience in construction plumbing within commercial or residential environments; familiarity with construction estimating preferred.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to plumbing systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of piping systems, pipe threading techniques, welding procedures, and HVAC integration.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and field service tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for plumbing installation and repair.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and estimations; excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience with remodeling projects or handyman tasks involving assembly or maintenance work is a plus.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for site travel; familiarity with construction site safety protocols essential.
