Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled, experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. We handle strictly commercial accounts and do not currently do any residential service calls. We are looking for a full-time technician for our daytime jobs as well as a technician for emergency/after hours calls.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various HVAC equipment. Also experience in commercial kitchen appliance repairs is preferred/helpful. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems in commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Troubleshoot HVAC or commercial kitchen equipment issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, and pumps.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all work performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
- Document all service calls and repairs in detail for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to build efficient solutions for complex HVAC challenges.
- Participation in On-call rotation is required.
Qualifications
- Experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry (3-5 years).
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration principles, and appliance repair.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems.
- Ability to perform equipment repair, including welding and plumbing tasks as needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA certification) are a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
