As an Electrical Technician, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and improving our facility's electrical infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the reliable operation of industrial machinery and building systems, contributing directly to our operational efficiency and safety. We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of electrical systems and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery, collaborating with mechanics and supervisors to implement effective corrective actions.
- Ensure plant compliance with safety protocols by applying NEC Codes and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and maintain advanced controls, including servo systems and controllers, to optimize equipment performance.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues with electrical components and systems throughout the facility.
- Install and maintain diverse types of conduits, ensuring proper wire sizing and termination based on component specifications.
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial power and electrical systems, covering both low and high voltage applications.
- Interpret electrical schematics to accurately diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
- Experience with 24V - 480V power systems.
- Knowledge of complex manufacturing operations.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing sensors and solid-state equipment.
- Ability to identify and order parts and materials from manufacturers' manuals and prints.
- Strong communication skills for both oral and written instructions.
