Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. As an HVAC Technician, you will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service in various settings.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC/R systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems, ensuring they operate efficiently.
- Repair or replace defective components using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to understand system layouts.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs.
- Operate company vehicles safely while traveling to job sites as needed.
- Collaborate with other technicians and field service staff to complete projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC/R field is preferred.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is beneficial.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems is advantageous for comprehensive service delivery.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as a multimeter for electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform repairs on various HVAC equipment.
