Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Superintendent/Manager to lead and oversee commercial and industrial projects involving spray polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation, SPF roofing systems, and fireproofing applications. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction management experience, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. You will coordinate all aspects of construction activities, manage teams, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, fostering a collaborative environment that drives project success.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Coordination
- Manage multiple projects from contract award through closeout
- Review project drawings, specifications, and submittals
- Develop project schedules and coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment
- Conduct pre-construction meetings, job kickoffs, and ongoing job site meetings.
Field & Crew Management
- Coordinate field supervisors and installation crews
- Monitor job progress, productivity, and quality control
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA standards)
- Resolve field issues, change orders, and unforeseen site conditions
Financial Oversight
- Track job costs, labor hours, and material usage
- Manage budgets and forecast project profitability
- Review and approve vendor invoices and subcontractor pay applications
- Prepare and manage change orders
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as primary point of contact for general contractors, building owners, and inspectors
- Attend job site meetings and provide progress updates
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and suppliers
Documentation & Closeout
- Maintain accurate project documentation
- Ensure submittals, warranties, and closeout documents are completed
- Support billing and collections process
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction project management experience (spray foam, roofing, fireproofing, or specialty contracting preferred)
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
- Experience reading blueprints and technical specifications
- Knowledge of SPF roofing systems, insulation applications, and/or SFRM/IFRM fireproofing products preferred
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing prevailing wage or public works projects
- Knowledge of NFPA, UL assemblies, and fire rating systems
- OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to manage multiple crews across multiple job sites

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
