About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Plumbing Technician to maintain and repair plumbing systems within our advanced manufacturing facility. In this role, you will troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Your expertise in pipe fitting, welding, and knowledge of industrial systems will be crucial to our operational success.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues across the facility, including steam boilers, compressed air systems, and sump pumps, ensuring minimal downtime.
Install, maintain, and repair industrial plumbing and piping systems, contributing to the efficient operation of our production lines.
Apply knowledge of pump theory and pneumatic principles to optimize system performance and prevent failures.
Fabricate and assemble piping systems using various methods such as threading, fitting, welding (gas, arc, sanitary), and soldering.
Identify and procure necessary parts and materials, ensuring timely repairs and minimizing disruptions.
Maintain boiler and refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Uphold food safety and facility cleanliness standards through diligent maintenance and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

Required Skills

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Massachusetts Journeyman Plumbers License.
Proficiency in pipe threading, fitting (iron, steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC), and PRO Press.
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing.
