Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our team in the Raleigh area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing HVAC systems according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC ad duct and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Fabricate sheet metal components using tools such as shears, brakes, and welders.
- Assemble and install metal products in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Utilize an ohmmeter to test electrical connections and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Skills
- Must have 3+ years experience
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Installing HVAC units
- Laying out and installing duct work
- Must have own hand tools and safety gear
- Must have a vehicle and drivers license
- Proficient in operating various sheet metal tools and machinery.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
