Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical services. In this role, you will oversee daily operations of the service department, coordinate field service activities, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties
- Manage, supervise and schedule the HVAC service team, including technicians specializing in HVAC/R (refrigeration).
- Coordinate scheduling of field service calls, ensuring timely response to customer needs across commercial and residential properties.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems using schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals.
- Review service reports, inspection logs, and maintenance records; maintain detailed documentation for all projects.
- Assist with diagnosing complex mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment; support technicians in troubleshooting air conditioning units.
- Maintain excellent customer relations by providing clear communication on project status and technical solutions.
Skills
- Strong construction background with knowledge of HVAC system installation and maintenance procedures.
- In-depth understanding of HVAC design principles and mechanical systems integration.
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices related to air conditioning units, boilers, and general building systems.
- Field service experience with a focus on equipment repair in diverse environments; ability to adapt quickly to different job sites.
