Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to assemble and install hydraulic and pneumatic systems on custom-built industrial equipment.

This is a hands-on skilled trade role that requires blueprint interpretation, precision tubing work, and accurate system installation in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Work is performed at our Whitmore Lake facility with in-house fabrication and assembly.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret mechanical blueprints to execute pneumatic and hydraulic system layouts
Select and install tubing, pipe, fittings, supports, and related materials per specifications
Assemble and configure valve packs, including mounting to aluminum plates with proper alignment
Bend and route 6mm–12mm tubing and route soft tubing through wireways with organized placement
Install hydraulic and pneumatic components such as valves, pumps, cylinders, and manifolds
Connect systems using threaded and compression fittings
Secure piping and components using brackets, clamps, and mounting hardware
Perform pressure testing and inspect systems for leaks and proper operation
Fabricate and weld pipe supports to structural members
Install and plumb hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders on machine bases

Required

Demonstrated experience in industrial pipefitting or machine build environments
Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints
Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Experience bending and routing small-diameter tubing accurately
Ability to handle and install industrial components as part of daily work activities
