Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment to support construction activities
- Collaborate with project managers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and carpenters to coordinate work seamlessly
- Perform remodeling tasks such as fixture replacements or system upgrades with attention to detail
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites to ensure a secure environment for all team members
Experience
- Valid MA state-issued license as a professional plumber
- Proven experience working on construction sites involving plumbing installation and repair
- Skilled in welding, pipe threading, and using various hand tools and power tools for plumbing tasks
- Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings related to plumbing systems
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and basic mechanical principles beneficial for integrated building projects
- Experience with remodeling projects or handyman tasks that involve plumbing components is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and possess basic math skills for measurements and calculations
