Industrial Sanitary Piping & Boiler Technician

What You’ll Handle

Full-plant coverage—access all areas of the facility and grounds to diagnose and repair issues.
Utilities and process systems: steam boilers, compressed air equipment, sump pumps, irrigation, and connected piping.
Facility and industrial plumbing/piping installation, maintenance, and repairs.
Boiler and refrigeration operation and upkeep.
Preventive and corrective maintenance routines with clear documentation.
Parts identification and ordering using manufacturer manuals and prints.
Compliance with corporate programs for food safety, food safety culture, product quality, and plant cleanliness.

Skills That Set You Apart

Mastery of pump operation, troubleshooting, and repair.
Applied pneumatics: diagnose, service, and optimize pneumatic systems.
Pipe threading/fitting: iron, steel, stainless, copper, PVC; experienced with ProPress systems.
Gas and arc welding and soldering; sanitary welding to certification standard.
Strong verbal and written communication across teams.

Schedule & Compensation

Day shift is primary; able to assist other shifts when needed.
Pay range: $35.00–$44.57 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Massachusetts Journeyman Plumbers License (required).
Certified sanitary welder (preferred).
EPA Universal (preferred).
