Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing, with hands-on experience in various plumbing tasks. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all plumbing systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Perform pipe threading, assembly, and heavy lifting as required for installations.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
- Provide maintenance person services as needed, including basic carpentry and remodeling tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in construction plumbing techniques and practices.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues.
- Experience with welding and pipe threading is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Valid commercial driving license may be required for certain positions.
- Previous construction site experience is essential for understanding job site dynamics.
