Position: Part-Time Plumbing Designer / Plumbing Engineer
Schedule: As-needed (5–10 hours/month)
Compensation: Hourly
Clayborn Engineering is looking for an Indiana-licensed Plumbing Designer or Plumbing Engineer who can prepare, review, and sign and seal plumbing plans for Indiana permit submittals and applications.
This position is ideal for a qualified professional who is interested in flexible, project-based work with an Indiana architecture and engineering firm.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and/or review plumbing design drawings
- Sign and seal plumbing plans for Indiana submittals
- Coordinate with our internal design team on project requirements
- Help ensure drawings meet applicable Indiana codes and submission standards
Qualifications:
- Active license qualifying you to sign and seal plumbing plans for Indiana projects
- Experience with plumbing design for permit applications and construction documents
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Indiana codes, standards, and permitting processes
- Ability to work remotely and communicate clearly with the design team
Compensation:
- Hourly or project-based, depending on scope and discussion
