Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating smooth, durable, and aesthetically pleasing concrete surfaces across a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and renovation sites. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life by expertly finishing concrete with precision and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your skills in concrete finishing and related trades.

Duties

Apply finishing techniques to freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools to achieve a smooth, level surface.
Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to facilitate pouring and finishing processes.
Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics to ensure structural integrity before pouring concrete.
Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise work plans.
Perform tasks related to rebar installation, concrete forming, and steel reinforcement placement in accordance with project specifications.
Execute additional masonry tasks such as stucco, plastering, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, and trim carpentry as needed.
Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in concrete finishing on construction sites with knowledge of various finishing techniques.
Mechanical knowledge of construction tools, heavy equipment operation, and power tools essential for the role.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of tasks.
Strong understanding of rebar installation, concrete forming, metal stud framing, masonry, roofing, and restoration processes.
Familiarity with construction estimating processes and the use of hand tools for detailed craftsmanship.
Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, climbing scaffolding or ladders, and performing strenuous tasks safely.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites including proper handling of heavy machinery and personal protective equipment.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
