Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and mechanical repair. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The technician will work closely with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.
Troubleshoot HVAC issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct field service visits to assess client needs and provide solutions.
Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, and motors.
Collaborate with other tradespeople for comprehensive property maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations.
Adhere to safety protocols while working with ammonia refrigeration systems.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC/R or related fields.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
Familiarity with plumbing systems and appliance repair is a plus.
Experience in construction or property maintenance is advantageous.
Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively.
Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
