Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Summary:
Our company is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a background in the commercial architectural millwork/casework industry to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in completing projects. You will be directly connected to our: Estimating, Engineering, Production, and Finance teams. The leadership and communication you provide will be a core component for success.

Since 2012, Vangarde Woodworks has been producing high-quality millwork and casework products for the commercial and residential sectors. While we are a custom operation, we deploy lean strategies across all operations with the focus of simplifying tasks and continuous improvement.
Job Functions:
- Communicate directly with clients and team regarding: project milestones, project timing, requests for information, approvals, and high-risk elements.
- Explore architectural drawings, specifications, and other documentation to gain a deep understanding of project requirements.
- Proactively coordinate meetings and site visits with customers to ensure everyone is on track and up to date.
- Conduct field verifications to collect data for Engineers to ensure designs are accurate and will accommodate other trade work.
- Maintaining project timelines and budgets.
- Incorporate feedback from the team to continually improve the PM process.
- Additional functions assigned as business needs change
Required Experience and Skills:
- 4+ years of experience managing architectural millwork and or casework projects for the commercial and residential sectors
- 3+ years of utilizing software applications to markup drawings and document project details including Bluebeam and MS Office
- Working knowledge of AWI standards and custom millwork fabrication.
- Excellent time management, negotiating and written/verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to travel
- Driver's License
- AutoCAD and/or Cabinet Vision experience is a plus
