Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication processes and techniques, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various materials and tools to produce high-quality metal products for construction and manufacturing applications. The Metal Fabricator will collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specifications.

Responsibilities

o Fabricate basic parts in a timely manner

o Ability to Utilize saw and angle grinder

o Powdercoat & sand blast

o Prime and paint

o Basic understanding of all hardware

o Manage truck inventory

o Strap and secure loads

o Shop cleanliness

o Assist w/ installation of all products

Skills

Construction site experience is preferred for understanding project requirements.
Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, Stick welding, and soldering techniques.
Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, machining, and pipe threading.
Strong understanding of ASME codes & standards relevant to metal fabrication.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
Knowledge of rigging practices for safe material handling.
